Document Description
The Alameda County Public Works Agency proposes to repair damaged and displaced sections of sidewalks and roadways at the various locations within the unincorporated communities of Ashland, Castro Valley, Cherryland, Fairview, Hayward Acres, Sunol, Pleasanton, Livermore and San Lorenzo. The proposed project is part of the County’s Sidewalk Repair Program funded by the Measure B Grant Program. The proposed work consists of no more than 300 SF at each property location of saw cutting, removing and reconstructing the damaged sections of sidewalks, driveways, curbs, gutters; removing roots; installing root control barriers. All BMP/water pollution control measures and cleaning of the job site would be conducted. The purpose of the project is to improve public safety and drainage.
