Reasons for Exemption
The proposed project was reviewed for potential exemptions and was determined to satisfy the standards of Class 31 Categorical Exemption as specified within Section 15331 of the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) Guidelines because the requested Mills Act Contract will include a work plan limited to maintenance, repair, stabilization, rehabilitation, restoration, preservation, conservation, or reconstruction of historical resources consistent with the U.S. Secretary of the Interiors Standards for the Treatment of Historic Properties.
