Document Description
Repair or replace electrical conductors at Standish Hickey State Recreation Area to provide power to a cabin and bathroom utilized by park staff and visitors. The preferred location for the upgraded line is an existing buried electrical conduit that
will be assessed once the old line is removed. If the line can’t be reused, a new trench will be excavated for the purposes of this project. Work will:
• Remove 300-ft of existing electrical line, assess conduit for reuse and either reuse or excavate for a
new line and install new line;
• Excavate to install three (3) new 22-in. by 16-in. pull boxes;
• At the site of the power drop, install a new meter panel;
• At the cabin, install a new subpanel; and
• Assess installation and complete safety checks prior to turning on power
