Document Description
Project proposes to install one (1) solar array and three (3) Franklin batteries east of the fleet parking area in Ano Nuevo State Park to provide renewable, solar energy and battery backup to the Año Nuevo State Park office, Marine Education Center, water plant, Horse Barn, and tool shed. This Notice of Exemption supersedes a notice filed on October 15, 2024. Work will: •Remove one (1) Monterey Pine and two (2) Monterey Cypress; •Remove one (1) boat shed; •Embed screws in ground at a depth of 5-feet; •Mount the solar array on the screw pile foundations; •Pour an approx. 9-ft 5-in.(l) x 2-ft 4-in. (w) x 6-in. (h) concrete pad with ½-in. rebar every 12-in.; •Install the three (3) Franklin batteries onto concrete pad; and •Excavate a 70-ft long by 18-24-in. trench from the solar array to the batteries and install electrical conduit and wiring to connect services
