Document Description
At the April 9, 2025, meeting, the Board of Directors of Sanitation District No. 8 authorized staff to negotiate purchase of the Property, which was recently listed for sale and is located adjacent to buffer land owned by the Districts for the Warren Facility. The Property was historically used for oil production, but the oil well has been plugged in accordance with local and state requirements and all associated equipment and improvements have been removed. M&B has agreed to sell the Property for $2,500,000. Acquisition of the Property would enhance the buffer for Warren Facility operations and could potentially be used to support the Districts’ future projects. The proposed Agreement provides a 60-day escrow period during which the Districts will complete due diligence, including an environmental
site assessment.
