Document Description
Maintenance is developing a project on Route 281 in Lake County at and near Clearlake Riviera from 0.2 mile west of Inca Way to Route 29. Work will consist of partial depth recycling, replacing AC surfacing, replacing traffic signal loops, placing RHMA overlay, replacing AC dike, modifying OMP inlets to GMP inlets, adjusting overside drain entrance tapers, replacing shoulder backing, and replacing pavement delineation. All work will be within the existing State right of way. Equipment staging will be confined to paved surfaces and existing non-vegetated turnouts. Construction Area Signs and Portable Changeable Message Signs will tentatively be placed. The purpose of the project is to place a partial depth recycle and overlay on this segment of highway as a form of corrective maintenance, in order to preserve the integrity of the roadway.
