The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans), in coordination with the California Department of Technology, proposes to construct two broadband network hub shelters to provide transmission and amplification of broadband signals. Network hub shelter no. 6 is located on State Route (SR) 96 at post mile (PM) 40.90 in Humboldt County and network hub shelter no. 8 is located on SR 101 at PM R120.70 in Humboldt County.
