Document Description
The project consists of improvements along multiple right-of-way segments within the western area of the City of Glendale, bounded by Elm Avenue (west), San Fernando Road (southwest), Glenoaks Boulevard (north), Concord Street (east), and West Milford Street (south). Several right-of-way segments extend beyond these boundaries by approximately one block on Linden Avenue, Allen Avenue, Thompson Avenue, Western Avenue, Hale Street, and Standard Avenue, and by four blocks north of Glenoaks Boulevard on Winchester Avenue. The scope of work for improvements to these identified right-of-way corridors includes: 1) selective removal, repair, and reconstruction of damaged curbs, gutters, sidewalks, driveways, cross gutters, and alley aprons; 2) selective removal, repair, and reconstruction of damaged asphalt and Portland cement concrete pavements; 3) installation of new ADA compliant curb ramps where none existed, and 4) modification and reconstruction of existing ramps to meet current ADA standards.
