Caltrans approves of the encroachment permit that Southern California Edison (SCE) is proposing to replace three transmission poles along State Route 138 (SR-138), Lancaster Rd, in the City of Lancaster, County of Los Angeles in the State right-of-way. the scope of work is as follows: Replace pole 1061945E and replace span-guy crossing HWY 138, replace pole 1871746E, transfer overhead wire to new pole and perform associated temporary traffic control activities. Excavation will have a maximum depth of 96 inches, an average width of 24 inches, and a maximum length of 2 feet. No public utilities will be relocated, and no new right-of-way will be acquired for the project.
