Document Description
Sacramento County Regional Parks will construct a new 900-square foot restroom and a 0.25-acre picnic area consisting of new picnic tables. The new restroom will be tied into the existing sewer and water connections and the existing restroom will be demolished. Additionally, construction of a new concrete pathway totaling approximately 110 linear feet is included in this project to provide access to the new restroom and picnic tables. Construction of the project will not include the removal of vegetation.

Reasons for Exemption
Class 3 consists of construction and location of limited numbers of new, small facilities or structures; installation of small new equipment and facilities in small structures; and the conversion of existing small structures from one use to another where only minor modifications are made in the exterior of the structure. Implementation of the project will include the construction of a new 900-square foot restroom, a 0.25-acre picnic area with new picnic tables, and a new 110 linear-foot concrete pathway. Therefore, the project is exempt from the provisions of CEQA.
