The proposed Project consists of the following: (1) rehabilitation of existing trails and pathways, categorically exempt from the provisions of the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) pursuant to Article 19, Section 15301(c) of California CEQA Guidelines; (2) replacement of existing structures and facilities where the new structure will be located on the same site as the structure replaced and have substantially the same purpose and capacity, exempt from CEQA pursuant to Article 19, Section 15302 of California CEQA Guidelines; (3) new gardening and landscaping, exempt from CEQA pursuant to Article 19, Section 15304(b) of California CEQA Guidelines; (4) minor trenching and backfilling, exempt from CEQA pursuant to Article 19, Section 15304(f) of California CEQA Guidelines; (5) installation of accessory structures in institutional facilities, exempt from CEQA pursuant to Article 19, Section 15311 of California CEQA Guidelines. None of the limitations set forth in State CEQA Guidelines 15300.2 apply.
