Document Description
Request by Douglas Burkardt for a Major Grading Permit to allow for the construction of a building pad and driveway to support an approximately 1,173 square-foot manufactured ADU (RBLD2025-00010). The proposal includes grading and excavation for the building foundation, driveway, on-site drainage improvements and a new septic system. Grading will result in an estimated 490 cubic yards of cut and 310 cubic yards of fill with site disturbance of approximately 0.19 acres. The project will have an impervious surface area of 3,190 square feet. The site is located at 8715 N Barnes Rd, approximately .5 miles southwest of the Community of San Miguel (APN: 027-161-005). The project is in the North County planning area (Salinas River Sub Area). The location of the project site is shown in Figure 1 and an aerial view of the project site is provided in Figure 2. Table 1-1 provides a summary of project components.
