Document Description
The Project would include emergency repairs and replacement of existing Glenn Colusa Irrigation District (District) canal infrastructure within Cortina Creek. The District discovered that the existing siphon crossing below Cortina Creek had failed in May 2025. The District's canal will be shut off from September 17 to November 17 during the harvest season. irrigation water must be flowing again by November 17 to provide water for rice feld decomposition and waterfowl habitat flooding. The emergency construction must also be completed prior to beginning of winter rains so that Contina Creek is free from obstruction.
