Document Description
Caltrans proposes replacing a damaged culvert on SR-84 at 0.2 mile east of Friars Lane in San Mateo County. The roadway will be saw-cut and removed, the damaged culvert swapped out with a new one of the same size, and the roadway repaired. Any removed delineation or pavement markings will be replaced. Replacement of the culvert will prevent further damage to the existing roadway. Construction equipment may include, but may not be limited to, trucks, compactors, excavators, and backhoes. All work will remain within Caltrans right of way and some project elements will occur off the paved roadway. One-way traffic control will be required during construction. The project will be constructed during the spring and summer construction season starting March 15th, 2026, and will be completed by the end of October.
