Document Description
Caltrans proposes digouts of damaged asphalt concrete (AC) pavement on SR-29 in Napa County from post mile 36.90 to 48.58. The removed sections of roadway will be replaced with new AC. The work is intended to preserve the roadway and improve ride quality. All work will take place within the roadway prism and very little disturbance is expected. Any removed delineation or pavement markings will be replaced. Construction equipment will include, but may not be limited to, AC trucks, grinders, loaders, pavers, and rollers. One way traffic control will be required during construction activities. Some construction activities will take place in seasonally wet areas, drainages, or areas of standing water or flooding. Construction will be conducted during the spring and summer season starting in March 2026, and work will be completed by September.
