Document Description
This project involves replacing two failing drainage systems on Route-101 in Humboldt County at post miles (PM) 111.21 and 111.24. The purpose of this project is to preserve the road fill prism at these locations by upgrading the deteriorated drainage infrastructure. Each drainage system currently includes an 18-inch cross culvert and drainage inlets. The project will use the cut and cover construction method to replace the existing pipes with new. No rock energy dissipators are planned for installation. This project is needed to maintain the highway.
