Document Description
The purpose of this project is to install a mini-split heat pump in the training room at Mount Diablo State Park for the purpose of climate control. Work will:
Use hand tools to excavate a 30-inch x 50-inch x 1.5 inch deep rectangle, located no more than 18-inches away from the east exterior wall of the training room building;
Pour a 45-inch-long x 24-inch-wide x 4-inch thick concrete pad;
Mount the condenser unit onto the concrete pad parallel to the building;
Inside the training room, mount the air handler on the wall, approx. 18-inches below the ceiling;
Use hand tools to bore a 1-inch diameter hole through the building and connect the condenser to the air handler unit via conduit; and
Mount a 10-inch x 5-inch x 3-inch pull-disconnect switch on the east exterior wall.
