Document Description
Project proposes to install new in-ground steel bike racks at Kings Beach State Recreation Area near the existing parking lot and restroom facilities to expand bicycle parking and improve accessibility for visitors. To install ten (10) bike racks in six (6) designated areas within the park, work will, per rack, use hand augers to manually excavate a 24-in. deep x 12-in. diameter hole and insert one (1) bike rack pedestal into each hole and pour concrete to set/secure the rack. Each rack, overall will measure approx. 18-in. wide x 36-in. tall. Excavated soils will be collected and disposed of offsite.
