Document Description
Caltrans approves the encroachment permit for Southern California Edison (SCE) to dig a new pole hole, replace the overhead guy wires that traverse Highway 110, and perform tree trimming. Digging of the pole hole will be conducted by an auger, if possible, or with the assistance of a vacuum truck, both of which will reach over the fence. Cutting of the old pole at the ground level and backfilling of the new pole, as well as temporary traffic control on postmile (PM) 30.3 in the City of South Pasadena, County of Los Angeles. Excavation will have a maximum depth of 84 inches, an average width of 36 inches, and a maximum length of 3 linear feet. No public utilities will be relocated, and no new right-of-way will be acquired for the project.
