Document Description
The Applicant proposes to install and operate a new iron and manganese filtration system to treat groundwater from Well 1. The filtration process will use a row of four, 14 in. diameter by five feet tall, filter vessels containing Green Sand media. The vessels will be installed on an 80-inch by 30-inch concrete pad adjacent to the existing well. Every 5-10 years the filter media will be removed and disposed of by a special waste removal company. A new section of four-foot-tall wooden fence will be constructed around the filters.
