Caltrans approves of the encroachment permit that Southern California Edison (SCE) is proposing to replace an existing distribution pole 1115256E along State Route 138 (SR-138), on postmile (PM) 20.32 at approximately 1150 feet west of 185th St W, as well as to perform associated temporary traffic control activities in the City of Lancaster, County of Los Angeles. Excavation will have a maximum depth of 96 inches, an average width of 24 inches, and an approximate length of 2 linear feet. No public utilities will be relocated, and no new right-of-way will be acquired for the project.
