Document Description
Notice of Exemption describing a pipeline project to install infrastructure needed to consolidate the local water systems. Water system improvements to physically consolidate the Tres Pinos Water District, the Stonegate Potable Water System, and the Venture Estates Mutual Water Company with the SSCWD distribution system. SSCWD will succeed in all three of these water system distribution areas and supply potable water to the existing customers who will become permanent customers of SSCWD. The Tres Pinos and Venture Estates water system wells will be abandoned, and all three water systems will relinquish potable water responsibility in favor of public water service provided by SSCWD. No increased water demand on subservice aquifers will occur as existing wells will be abandoned in favor of other existing wells with sufficient production capacity. Agency agreements have been secured to ensure supplementary water supplies are provided.

Piping to be installed within the County right of way, beneath previously disturbed areas now maintained as asphalt roadway or agricultural use. New water tank to be installed adjacent to existing tank. No other changes or impacts to the environment have been identified or can be assumed.
