Caltrans approves of the encroachment permit that Southern California Edison (SCE) is proposing to replace one existing distribution pole along State Route 107 (SR-107), at Hawthorne Blvd, at post mile (PM) 4.31 in the City of Redondo Beach, County of Los Angeles. Pole 1139719E will be replaced in its current location within the State right-of-way and along SR-107, as well as to perform associated temporary traffic control activities. Excavation will have a maximum depth of 96 inches, an average width of 60 inches, and a maximum length of 5 linear feet. No public utilities will be relocated, and no new right-of-way will be acquired for the project.
