Reasons for Exemption
On November 13, 2015, the Governor issues E.O. B-36-15, which suspended Division 13 of Public Resources Code (Section 21000) and regulations adopted pursuant to that Division. "This suspension applies to any actions taken by local agencies where the state agency with primary responsibility for implementing the directive concurs; as well as for any necessary permits to complete these actions." E.O. B-39-17 issues by the Governor on April 7, 2017 continued the suspension on temporary permits, and E.O. N-7-22 further bolsters E.O. B-39-17.
