The project is limited to the installation and removal of a clear span, prefabricated crossing over Kelsey Creek. The bridge will be installed after May 15th and removed before October 15th of the same calendar year. The crossing structure will be stored in previously disturbed areas, outside the bed, bank, or channel or Kelsey Creek when it is not in use. No vegetation will be disturbed. Cobble contouring will be restored to pre-project conditions within three (3) weeks of crossing removal.
The remnants of rusted, nonfunctional metal culverts that were installed in the past will be removed. The excavated materials will be hauled off-site and disposed of.
The work will be conducted using an excavator, tractor, grader, dump truck, and hand tools.
