Document Description
Near Graeagle, from Sierra County line to Route 70. Rehabilitate pavement, upgrade guardrail and signs and widen shoulders. The project will involve overlaying from edge of pavement to edge of pavement on SR 89, overlaying all permitted road connections up to the existing right-of-way, replacing and upgrading guardrails, signage, delineators, drainage systems, shoulder backing, and pavement markings to meet current standards.The purpose of the project is to extend highway facility life, improve ride quality, restore the integrity of culverts, minimize worker exposure, reduce extraordinary maintenance, and improve accessibility and ease of travel for bicycles and pedestrians.
