Document Description
(WDID 5A32CR00257) The purpose of the proposed project is to improve the condition and safety of Quincy Junction Road between Bell Lane and Chandler Road in Plumas County, CA. Quincy Junction Road provides access from the town of Quincy to numerous trail systems in Plumas National Forest and is frequently used by cyclists, pedestrians, and equestrians. The existing pavement is also in a deteriorated condition with some sections requiring resurfacing or rehabilitation to extend the pavement service life. The project includes roadway improvements and widening of approximately 1.0 mile of Quincy Junction Road from Bell Lane to Chandler Road. The project will widen the roadway to a paved width of 30 feet, which will allow for two 11-foot-wide travel lanes and 4-foot-wide shoulders on each side. The project also consists of rehabilitation of the existing pavement, minor drainage improvements, utility relocations, and new cut/fill slopes.
