Document Description
Department of Water Resources Division of Engineering, Dam Safety Services, and Contractor will clean approx. 30 piezometers along the west and south sides of Thermalito Afterbay Dam. The piezometers will be cleaned using air compressors and water pumps mounted on a drill rig though no drilling work will be done. Air or water will be jetted inside the piezometer casing to flush out debris. Then a downhole camera inspection will be done. Soil and water removed from the piezometers will be collected in 55-gallon drums to be disposed by Contractor. All staging and work is within DWR right of way.
