Includes planting 500 California-native and rare dune species and removing invasive species, such as narrowleaf iceplant. Additionally, a sand fence up to 300 feet in length will be installed within the 5-acre restoration area, to protect newly planted native dune vegetation from wind erosion and sand burial.
