Reasons for Exemption
The Mission Pavement Rehab Phase 3 on Mission Blvd from Ben Nevis Blvd to Bellegrave Ave. will not widen the roadway, increase the number of travel lanes, or include any component that will increase the capacity of the circulation system. The new asphalt concrete will have the same purpose and capacity and will be located on the same sites as the structures replaced. The restoration and rehabilitation of the deteriorated existing street allow the project to be consistent with Class 1 Categorical Exemption as set forth in Section 15301(c) of the State CEQA Guideline
