Document Description
The County of Del Norte has received funding for the Del Norte Regional Guardrail Upgrades project to upgrade existing guardrail along the County maintained road system. A CEQA Class 2 Categorical Exemption appears applicable since the project consists of replacement or reconstruction of existing structures (e.g., guardrail) where the new structure will be located on the same site as the structure being replaced and will have substantially the same purpose and capacity as the structure being replaced. Therefore, the Engineering and Surveying Division is requesting a CEQA notice of exemption be filed for the Del Norte Regional Guardrail Upgrades project.
