Document Description
Caltrans proposes digouts of existing damaged asphalt concrete (AC) and then resurfacing with new AC on US-101 from 0.5-mile north of Bernal Road Undercrossing to Coyote Creek Bridge in Santa Clara County. The work is intended to preserve the roadway and improve ride quality for the traveling public. All construction work will remain within Caltrans right of way on the existing paved roadway. Construction equipment to be used includes, but is not limited to, AC trucks, grinders, loaders, pavers, and rollers. Construction equipment shall be staged within Caltrans ROW in areas absent of vegetation. Any removed delineation or pavement striping will be replaced. The project will be constructed during the summer construction season, beginning in May of 2026, and will be completed by September.
