Document Description
The project will improve the capacity of an existing swale that drains through a rock-lined culvert inlet under the Rohnert Foothills Subdivision Unit No. 3 (G-Tract subdivision). Over time, the swale has filled from erosion, deposition, and vegetation growth, resulting in reduced capacity. This limited capacity has caused a concern that stormwater could potentially overflow into the neighboring properties during a large storm. The proposed work includes recapturing and expanding the swale capacity to reduce flood potential from overland flows off the adjacent field and expanding the existing berm to further protect residences from flooding.
