Document Description
Maintenance of the Indian Hill Blvd at the I-10 Freeway underpass, with the grinding and paving of the existing asphalt roadway. The City of Claremont be performing routine roadway maintenance work in form of grinding and paving the existing asphalt surface, which will include restoring the striping to the existing roadway layout, and to re-install any damaged traffic signal loops resulting from this work.

The Director of Community Development has determined that the proposal is categorically exempt from the provisions of the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) pursuant to Section 15301 Existing Facilities (c) for existing highways or streets, in that the project entails the maintenance of the Indian Hill Boulevard at the Interstate 10 Freeway underpass, with the griding and paving of the existing asphalt roadway, the public right of way is being maintained to be consistent with the pre-existing conditions, and as such, will not cause a substantial adverse change. Therefore, no further environmental review is necessary.
