Document Description
The California Department of Fish and Wildlife has executed Lake and Streambed Alteration Agreement EPIMS Notification No. EPIMS-ALA-44959-R3, pursuant to Section 1602 of the Fish and Game Code to CEMEX Construction Materials Pacific, LLC, as represented by Christine Jones. The project is limited to bank remediation of three locations on the north (river right) bank of Arroyo del Valle, adjacent to Lake B mine pit at the CEMEX Eliot Quarry. Temporary bank stabilization materials, including ecoblocks and approximately 2,600 yd3 of riprap previously placed as an emergency repair will be removed. Approximately 6,350 yd3 of fill material and 9,000 yd3 of riprap will then be placed as bank stabilization. Three stone barbs will be placed mid-channel to provide fish habitat enhancements and promote riparian plant re-establishment.
