The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans), in coordination with the California Department of Technology, proposes to construct two middle-mile broadband network hub shelters to provide transmission and amplification of broadband signals. Network hub shelters no. 95 and no. 97 are located on SR 139 and SR 299 between PM 43.1 and PM 43.4 and PM 21.6 and PM 21.8 in Modoc County.
