Document Description
The California Department of Fish and Wildlife has executed Lake and Streambed Alteration Agreement EPIMS Notification No. EPIMS-SON-57096-R3, pursuant to Section 1602 of the Fish and Game Code to Victor Zayas.
The project is limited to removal of unpermitted rock riprap that was placed in the channel and restoration of the riparian corridor on-site. The project includes removal of: 1) approximately 0.047 acres of unauthorized rock fill with heavy equipment and accumulated sediment in the channel, 2) an additional 0.023 acres of accumulated sediment using hand tools in the channel upstream of the unauthorized rock, 3) boulders placed along the top of bank, and 4) a wood pile at the top of bank. The project also includes riparian restoration in the form of native plantings. Approximately 0.51 acres of the riparian corridor along the creek will be restored and enhanced with native riparian plantings. No trees will be removed as part of this project. Access and staging will occur via existing roads and in upland areas on-site.
