Maintenance would not involve modifications to the existing infrastructure and would not require placement of new fill. Passive dewatering would be implemented using the procedures described in the presentation to avoid potential impacts to fish. Work windows for California Ridgway's rail and other nesting birds would be followed to avoid impacts to these species. The projects would not affect any vegetated areas; access would be from the lagoon and from existing hardened infrastructures.
