Document Description
The Department of Cannabis Control, pursuant to authority granted under Business and Procession Code, Section 26012, approved a Specialty Indoor commercial cannabis license submitted on 10/15/2024, by Cultiva LLC. The project consists of cultivating 15,380 square feet mature cannabis and 1,384 square feet immature cannabis under a Medium Indoor DCC license. Local CEQA authority has approved this project for 20,390 square feet of mature canopy and 2,306 square feet of immature canopy. Cultiva LLC already holds a Small Indoor license (CCL21- 0004802) on premises and would like to replace that license with this Medium Indoor license. Project is located on 062- 0150-024-0000 in Sacramento County in an existing 32,412 square feet commercial building on a 2.03 acre lot in the Heavy Industrial (M-2S Zone). Applicant has designated processing and packaging areas on premises.

The Department of Cannabis Control has determined that the project is a Class 1 Categorical Exemption project. Class 1 Categorical Exemptions consist of the operation, repair, maintenance, permitting, leasing, licensing, or minor alterations to existing public or private structures, facilities, mechanical equipment, or topographical features, involving negligible or no expansion of use beyond that existing at the time of the lead agency’s determination. None of the exceptions to this exemption defined in Section 15300.2 apply.
