The proposed Project consists of the approval of a 2-year concession agreement between the City of Los Angeles Department of Recreation and Parks and Mr. Diego Garcia, for the operation of the Echo Park Boathouse Café Concession, situated within the 1,500 square foot Echo Park Boathouse on the east side of Echo Park Lake. The concession agreement includes operational maintenance, but does not include any capital improvement that could potentially cause impacts on the environment. Beneficiaries of the project are the patrons of the park.
