Document Description
The chlorine contact tank (CCT) at WRF No. 1 is currently fed by a 36-inch line. Sodium hypochlorite is injected directly into the chlorine contact tank, where it is mixed using a mechanical mixer. The sodium hypochlorite injection point will be relocated to the 36-inch line, just upstream of the tank, and a static mixer will be installed within the line to promote proper mixing. In addition, the installation of a new flow meter on the 36-inch line that can be placed within the buried vault upstream of the static mixer will take place. The project involves rebuilding the flash mixer used for chemical injection and mixing, and installing a static mixer for improving influent flow into the chlorine contact basin. This project is a key element in the overall infrastructure, ensuring sustained functionality and efficiency in the wastewater management , which is essential for the smooth operation of the facility.
