Document Description
The California Department of Fish and Wildlife has executed Streambed Alteration Agreement EPIMS Notification No. EPIMS-VEN-55898-R5, pursuant to Section 1602 of the Fish and Game Code to Southern California Edison (Permittee), as represented by Victoria Parsons.
The project consists of vegetation trampling to facilitate access to Pole 4485131E’s (H-frame structure 4485130E/44855131E), and the replacement of Pole 4485131E’s anchor. Project activities will result in 0.011-acre of temporary impacts to giant reed stands, active agriculture, and coast live oak woodland and forest. Project site access will require traversing approximately 55 feet of the Santa Clara River’s bed, left bank, and channel, which includes crews accessing the project location on foot and operation of hand tools. Project activities will require crushing and trampling of herbaceous and subshrub vegetation during access and operations, as well as ground disturbance associated with the anchor replacement processes. The project also includes the restoration of all project areas, including the regrading of channel areas back to their pre-project contours where applicable, removal of project generated wastes, and the restoration of channel ecology and morphology upon completion of the project.
