The proposed project is for the demolition of two existing retaining walls and patio, the construction, use, and maintenance of a new 190 square-foot swimming pool and retaining wall varying in height from 3 to 6 feet, and the grading and export of approximately 148 cubic yards of earth in conjunction with the continued use and maintenance of an existing two-story single-family dwelling. The Categorical Exemption prepared for the proposed project is appropriate
pursuant to CEQA Guidelines, Sections 15301 (Class 1) and 15303 (Class 3).
