Document Description
The project scope of work consists of the rehabilitation of existing sidewalks along the east side of Salt Lake Avenue, including, but not limited to, widening, reconstruction of wheelchair ramps, addition of medium to large curb extensions, improving the crossing angle of existing skewed intersections, and the installation of pedestrian lighting, wayfinding signage, traffic/pedestrian striping, benches, and pedestrian shade areas by planting new trees to create shade for pedestrians. The project focuses on pedestrian accessibility to increase pedestrian activity and connect the north-south boundaries of the City.
