Categorical Exemption
Type, Section or Code
15303(b),(d),(f),15304(b), (f),15306
Reasons for Exemption
The work will not result in any land use changes or significant environmental effects. The interconnection into existing on-farm sprinklers and water application systems is exempt under 15301, Existing Facilities, because it involves minor alterations to existing private structures and infrastructure. The project is also exempt under 15306, Information Collection, because it is an investigative pilot project focused on basic data gathering and research, and will not result in a serious or major disturbance to an environmental resource.

Exempt Status
