Document Description
The California Department of Fish and Wildlife (CDFW) has executed Streambed Alteration Agreement EPIMS Notification Number SIE-58788-R2, pursuant to Section 1602 of the Fish and Game Code to the project Applicant, South Yuba River Citizens League.
The project is limited to the placement and maintenance of 15 Beaver Dam Analogs (BDAs) within the Salmon Creek Meadow system, as part of the larger North Yuba Landscape Resilience Project. The project also includes selective conifer and alder fuel reduction across 190 acres.

CDFW has determined that the project meets the qualifying criteria set forth in Section 21080.56, subdivisions (a) through (d), inclusive. CDFW’s determination is supported by (1) the Central Valley Regional Water Quality Control Board’s January 9, 2025, initial determination as lead agency that the project meets the qualifying criteria set forth in Section 21080.56, subdivisions (a) through (d), inclusive; and (2) pursuant to Section 21080.56, subdivision (e), the CDFW Director’s February 2, 2025, concurrence with that Central Valley Regional Water Quality Control Board determination, which is available at wildlife.ca.gov/Conservation/Cutting-Green-Tape/SERP/Concurrences
