Document Description
The project consists of 9,936 sf of outdoor cannabis cultivation on a 2.71 acre parcel (APN 019-390-24-00) in Trinity County. The project contains 280 sf of immature canopy area. Water is procured from an onsite groundwater well, which supplies two 2,500 gallon water tanks. Power is provided by an onsite generator. The canopy area consists of 276 6 foot by 6 foot pots. There is a terraced developed area that supports up to 150 more pots with no additional clearing or development necessary. The property utilizes a permitted septic system serviced routinely as needed. Access to the site is on White Oak Road off Trinity Pines Road half mile from State Highway 3, with a maintained shared driveway to the parcel.

The Department of Cannabis Control has determined that the project is consistent with the local jurisdiction community plan and/or zoning designations. CEQA mandates that the project is consistent with the development density established by existing zoning, community plan, or general plan policies for which an EIR was certified and shall not require additional environmental review, except as might be necessary to examine whether there are project-specific significant effects which are peculiar to the project or its site. The project activity fits within the parameters included in CEQA Guidelines Section 15183 and the activity does not require additional CEQA analysis.
