Document Description
Charter Communications proposes to install a new power supply cabinet and place a new charter vault within Caltrans right-of-way along State Route (SR-)1 at Post Mile (PM) 43.27, in the City of Malibu, Los Angeles County. The proposed work will consist of riser down existing pole #1027701E, trench 15 linear feet and place new power supply cabinet model “ALPHA PN-4”, trench two (2) linear feet and place new 2-feet by 3-feet Charter Vault. Charter Communications is requesting a temporary encroachment permit to access Caltrans right-of-way to perform the above-mentioned work, as well as to perform any associated traffic control activities. All excavations will be done by open cut. Excavation will have a maximum depth of 48-inches, a maximum width of 12-inches and a maximum length of 15 linear feet. No public utilities will be relocated, and no new right-of-way will be acquired for the project.
