Document Description
The California Department of Fish and Wildlife has executed a Restoration Management Permit (RMP No. RMP-2025-0005-R5) pursuant to Section 1670 et seq of the Fish and Game Code to the City of Ventura.
The Project is designed to ensure volitional fish passage for southern California steelhead and other native aquatic species at all flow conditions. Fish passage at the Foster Park Notch (Notch) will be restored by ensuring original function of the Notch and maintenance in the form of sediment clearing from upstream and downstream areas directly adjacent to the Notch.
