Document Description
Verizon Wireless has requested approval of Use Permit 23-0006 to construct, operate, and maintain an unmanned commercial wireless telecommunications facility located within a 40-foot by 60-foot ground lease area. The proposed facility consists of a co-locatable 100-foot-tall monopine tower with one (1) tri-sector antenna mount with three (3) antennas per sector, two (2) microwave dish (MW) antennas, six (6) remote radio units (RRUs) and associated ancillary and ground equipment, including a 30-kilowatt diesel backup generator with a 203-gallon diesel fuel tank. Additional improvements proposed outside the fenced lease area include construction of an all-weather gravel access driveway, including widening of the existing driveway to 14 feet in certain places where the driveway is only 12 feet wide, and installation of utility connections to serve the facility. The applicant has also requested approval of an exception from wireless telecommunication landscaping standards.
